UK Charity Reg. No.1068649 | Established 1998
The has been created in memory of Raja Azam to raise funds specifically for the Noor Foundation UK's Mirpur (AK) dialysis centre.
The late Raja Azam spent the last 9 years of his life receiving renal dialysis at Nottingham City Hospital and his hometown, Mirpur.
Prior to the opening of the Mirpur dialysis centre, Raja Azam had to travel to Islamabad —2 hours, each way, 3 times a week to receive treatment. This grueling journey was a matter of life and death for him as well as every other dialysis patient who had to make this trip. Unfortunately, for many, this trip was not only too time consuming, but also cost-prohibitive. These people simply died.
By donating to the 'Raja Azam Adoft-for-Life Fund' you will not only save lives by helping The Noor Foundation UK to continue to provide life-saving dialysis treatment to the people of Mir Pur, but also allow us to continue with our noble mission to open more life-saving dialysis centres throughout remote regions of Pakistan and Azad Kashmir.
